I am currently learning how to write options. An option is a contract to buy or sell a specific financial product officially known as the option’s underlying instrument or underlying interest. These instruments can be Stocks, ETF’s or something similar. Options are extremely volatile and you can lose all of your money in one day. Options are mostly speculative instruments, but at the same time they can be used to hedge risk. That was kind of an oxymoron, but it is the truth. Hopefully I dont lose all of my money, otherwise I will be out on the streets begging for money to pay my rent. I just submitted a trade trigger for a sell to open order for a call on $7 for Bank of America shares if the shares reach the $6.50 mark. More info on this later.
